Truckfighters – Gravity X
Alternative / Classic / Rock

Originally from Boston, Human Life now lives in Los Angeles where he met Anabel Englund and the two quickly became friends, soaking in the city’s underground warehouse parties together. „El Diablo“ (original version released on Win Music) marks the second collaboration of the pair, the first being their track “Falling“ which was released on Hot Creations in 2013. „El Diablo“ has lyrics influenced by Jim Morrison, harmonies reminiscent of The Beach Boys, and a deep, disco influenced production with an early 90’s touch.

Phil Weeks – Bad Chance Went Thru My Mind
Deep House / Electronica / House

Phil Week’s excellent PW vinyl series continues at pace as he readies to roll out #09. With the strains of ‘It’s The Inside That Counts’ still ringing loud across the globe and its raw beats, huge baseline and classic vocal finding support from jocks across all genres, the Robsoul boss’ timing couldn’t better as he comes correct with another brace of house hits. ‘Bad Chance Went Thru My Mind’ once again sees Weeks paying homage to bygone greats as he chops, slices and tastefully reworks old school samples around fresh beats and warm, groovin’ basslines. On the flip the Frenchman breaks out his percussive side on the slammin’ ‘Baila Baila’.
