2003: finetunes founded

2004: finetunes launches Europe’s first independent online music store. We also built the first direct interfaces to big retail partners while other content providers were still sending CDs. We started providing logistics, delivery and encoding services for music content partners, as well as signing our first labels to worldwide digital distribution deals.

2005: growing label customer and retailer network, building the first label-administration software tool for metadata input, built the first digital warehouse-system in Germany

2006: built an encoding system to be able to digitize most of Germany’s independent catalogues at that time

2007: Built our first white-label shops for partners like Shell, Technics etc. Created first voucher code actions in Germany for artists and brands like Nokia

2008: Developed the possibilities of different configurations of one release due to different digital business models and timelines.

2009: celebrating five years of finetunes, launching the intuitive ContentHub and PromoTool

2010: starting a direct-to-fan bundling service, launching a real time sales analysis tool
