We are looking for a dedicated trainee for our label-team.
Role:
Management assistant for audiovisual media / marketing assistant
Requirements:
The ideal candidate would be a student in communication studies / business studies / economics or similar fields. English language skills (written and spoken) are essential. Additionally, skills in another foreign language such as French or Spanish would be useful. Also required are a basic knowledge in computing, strong social skills, a passion for independent music and residence in the Greater Hamburg area.
The training position lasts for six months and will provide the trainee with a detailed introduction to the duties and responsibilities of a distributor and retailer of digital music.
The role will be very varied, but main duties will include supporting the label management department, marketing-support, processing and maintenance of metadata, supporting the delivery and commercial accounting teams.
Payment according to agreement.

Digital Supply Chain Assistant
Responsibilities:
As a member of the “finetunes Digital Logistics and Encoding team” you are watching closely over finetunes’ ingestion mechanisms, distribution content and retailer relations. You will assist our team checking that releases are available at the right place in the right time as well as you’ll learn to take down content from our many shop partners around the globe when needed. With thousands of releases every month and a growing back catalog of 800.000+ tracks in our distribution system, you will sustain the logistics of data between our label and shop partners. As part of the team you will be the “human-machine interface”, meaning you will be in touch with label managers and clients (in-house & external), talking to shop partners as well as keeping the overview of administrative processes that keep our business running.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of Metadata, XML Structure, media formats and Internet-Communication (such as HTTP, FTP).
It is crucial that you are highly interested in the digital world, the internet and the music business in general.
You can speak and write English and German fluently.
You are skilled in handling common MS/Open Office applications.
