New Music Highlights – 24th of November 2017: Ellen Allien, Cella.
We are well in to that time of year again when the nights are long and cold. To help keep the frostiness at bay we have two new electronic releases ready to get your bodies moving.
First up, we welcome Swiss newcomer Cella to the stage with his EP Prologue, available through Quartz Records. This EP is a snapshot of the future and shows us just where this young producer is headed. It’s a double threat offering that is both ready to shake up dance floors, whilst giving listeners a more involved cinematic-esk experience.
Earlier this year the one and only Ellen Allien released her seventh studio album Nost to high acclaim. As if that wasn’t enough, we have been given two remix instalments for our listening pleasure. The second of those is live today featuring Truncate, Gerd Janson, FaltyDL and Kyoka, who all add their own flavour to Ellen’s winning mix.
To help see you through the rest of the impending winter, we have more releases for you to check out below.

BIG GIRLS CRY Mimoza‘s first single is Big Girls Cry, a strong, empowering, female uptempo record with big power vocals.
Portland (Majestic Casual Records)

Zoology’s penchant for a sensual blend between R&B, Neo-Soul and Indie Rock has become obvious over their first singles of Debut EP Bloom which will be released early 2018. With their new single Portland they follow this trend but it burrows deeper; it’s an inescapable earworm that begs for a replay as soon as it finishes.
All The Luck In The World
Landmarkts (All The Luck In The World)
Landmarks is the 2nd Single of All The Luck In The World’s new album A Blind Arcade which will be released on 23rd of February 2018.

Nick Garrie has been cited as influence and inspiration by artists such as TEENAGE FANCLUB, BMX BANDITS and LEONARD COHEN.
Narrative (Silly Walks Discotheque)
Contemporary Reggae / Reggae / Roots
After unforgettable hits like “Jah Nah Sleep” and “Storms Of Life”, Exco Levi has teamed up again with German top-producers Silly Walks Discotheque, warrantors of fine music destined for high rotation, to release “Narrative” unto the world.
Master HP & Million Stylez
Top a Top (StudioZoo)
Dancehall / Pop / Afro Beat
Germany’s Master HP joins forces with Sweden’s Reggae superstar, Million Stylez. “I always wanted to work with Million Stylez. He has a great voice and great styles. I’m happy that we made this club track together – It’s top a top!” It’s like a “summertime” reminder in the beginning of the winter season.
